| where should I start? ...the begining is so far away, most of the bits in the middle are fairly personal and the end hasn't got to me yet... well... hated school/ran away from home/got into and out of and back into and out of... and into and out of...trouble for a few years/was the drummer in the band/started modelling/stopped modelling and picked up two undergrad degrees and a masters/spent a year working as a doorman/registered as a PhD/ran out of money/picked up modelling again/travel about a bit (a lot)/work in a bar...and that takes me up to now... I think red roses are vulgar, I hate marmite, having any regrets shows a lack of courage, lying is something that insecure people do and everyone should wear odd socks... wearing matching socks is just crazy! I'm a pataphysician - I don't believe in god or science, I think Camus puts it best when he says (to paraphrase) science can explain and describe every aspect of a thing but it cannot fundamentally tell you what the thing is, religion simply does the same thing using a more creative narrative... we don't know exactly what the thing is but we can invent an impressive story about how it came to be and why! I guess that gives you a fair picture of who I am and what I do. I'm opinionated, egotistical and blunt... and that's the truth. |
